Since we launched the website 6 1/2 years ago, we have strived to take presentation seriously. Especially when it comes to gift wrapping. We invested early in very nice, rigid gift boxes featuring a custom-printed navy pinstripe pattern and topped off with white, satin ribbon and gift cards sealed in hot wax. It was a great start, and will continue to be our solution for larger gifts like shirts, sweaters, pants, and outerwear.
But starting today, the smaller gifts — cufflinks, wallets, grooming products, gloves, scarves, etc. — will be snugly packaged into a brand new, custom cigar box. This is something I have wanted to do for years, but we could never get all the puzzle pieces to fit. Most important to me was that it felt like a real cigar box; there are a lot of companies that will make custom boxes, but this had to feel authentic. Fortunately, we found a company that makes cigar boxes for tobacco companies, and we developed our own artwork, picked a size that would fix a wide range of gifts, and designed really cool labels that seal the box with a place for "To," "From," and a gift "Message." We hope this new box will find a happy home on the dresser or desk of gift recipients across the globe.
